Emmanuel continues to partner with San Patricio in Honduras. After a very positive mission trip in the summer of 2008 we have continued to stay in touch and to pray regularly for the parish, its leadership, and the Bishop of Honduras. Unfortunately, the 2009 mission trip had to be cancelled due to the political unrest in the country. Bishop Lloyd requested that mission groups refrain from coming to Honduras until the situation was settled. It is now safe to return.

We plan to send a 3-4 person team to Honduras in mid- to late-January, for a long weekend, to determine needs and to plan a mission trip for summer 2010. Our primary objective is to confirm our commitment to San Patricio, but we also want to assess the situation and speak with the Bishop and his Canon to the Ordinary to obtain their support.
