About the event
New Outreach Opportunity: Foster the Family Respite
2025 has brought a new outreach partnership to the Emmanuel family, in the form of hosting and providing resources/support for Foster the Family's "Kids Day Out" respite events.
Foster the Family is a local, non-profit organization that provides assistance to foster families, and we are thrilled to help this organization in their faithful work.
There are several ways to volunteer:
1. Provide dinner for participants and volunteers
2. Provide a craft for the participants to engage in during the event
3. Provide a parting gift for parents
4. Assist with set-up
5. Assist with clean-up
While each of these items are critical to the success of the event, they are not exceedingly demanding or time-consuming, and are a one-time commitment unless you would like to sign up for multiple events. Due to privacy and safety regulations, Emmanuel members are NOT permitted to be present during the actual respite, so each of these items occurs either before or after the event.
