Holy Week begins with the blessing of the palms, Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem,

and the reading of  The Passion Narrative.

Maundy Thursday
Agape Meal & Foot washing/Stripping of the Altar

April 17 | 5:30 pm meal, 7:00 pm Holy Eucharist

This year, we will be experiencing a Jerusalem Easter Dinner as our Agape (love) Meal, partaking in foods that Jesus would have eaten during his time on earth. Dinner will be followed by a reverent Foot washing and Stripping of the Altar service of Holy Eucharist. You do not have to attend the service in order to attend the meal, or vice versa. Those with young children are encouraged to come for as long as your little lasts – ducking out after dinner is completely acceptable. Please see the Thursday e-news to sign up to contribute meal items.

Good Friday

Contemplative Service

April 18 | 12:00 pm

This said service provides a moment in our day to

pause and reflect on Christ’s ultimate sacrifice for us.

The Way of the Cross

April 18 | 6:00 pm

This powerful, contemplative liturgy follows the fourteen traditional Stations of the Cross – Jesus’ final walk. This year, we will once again be experiencing The Stations through the beautiful woodcuts of local sacred artist Peggy Parker.

Holy Saturday

Children’s Way of the Cross & Easter Egg Hunt

April 19 | 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

A child-appropriate the Way of the Cross, explaining the roller-coaster of emotions we experience during Holy Week. Then,  we transition to the full-on joy of Easter with an Easter Egg hunt on the playground, followed by a pizza lunch with friends new and old. This is a community event, so please invite your family, friends, and neighbors!

A Sensory-Friendly Easter

April 19 | 5:00 pm

A new service designed specifically for our neurodiverse siblings in Christ, or those for whom the hustle and bustle of a major feast day worship service is overwhelming. Low lighting, a plethora of sensory items (including some floor and yoga ball seating), and welcomed movement provide a more low-key environment than our traditional worship offerings. There will be an Easter egg hunt offered after the service for all who wish to participate.

Easter Sunday
The Lord is Risen!!

April 20 | 8:00 & 10:30 am*
* Note the time change just for this Easter service.

A grand and glorious celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord, the holiest day on the Christian calendar. This festive Holy Eucharist is marked by magnificent floral décor and joyful music as we celebrate the Risen Christ.
